-
- If you have problems with Hubie crashing or behaving
- erratically, please verify the following system
- settings :
-
- ^013 CONFIG.SYS
-
- FILES and BUFFERS should be set at at least 20.
- STACKS should be set at 9,256 or higher.
- COMSPEC should be set to the COMMAND.COM you
- boot from.
-
- ^013 AUTOEXEC.BAT
-
- BLASTER environment variable should be present
- for initial sound card setup.
-
-
-
-
- ( continued )
- ^013 RAM Memory
-
- You should have at least 2MB of total RAM. Conventional
- Memory can be as low as 300K. Disabling Sound and/or
- Music reduces RAM requirements. To see how much
- RAM your PC is set up to use, type MEM [Enter] at the
- DOS prompt.
-
- ^013 DMPI Memory
-
- Hubie uses DPMI memory. This means you must have
-
- ^014@HIMEM.SYS
-
- loaded, or be running under OS/2 or Windows 95.
- If none is available, Hubie will try to install its own
- DPMI server. If that fails to work, you should set up
- your system for use with HIMEM.SYS. Check your DOS
- manual for details.
